My life is my life and I will not trade it for anything except Christ, even saying that I still ask for strength on a daily basis to live by it. Life itself is a roller coaster with fluctuating emotions such as pain, agony, victory, defeat, so on and so forth. However, I believe it is the uncertain situations in life that shape us into the individuals we are today and are to become. Basically, what I am trying to say is, your past can shape and influence the future in a major way. My real name in translation means “Born in Wealth.” I was born in Lagos, Nigeria in the year of the Dragon and as far as I can remember, it’s been a bumpy ride. Growing up in Nigeria was intense and a bit tedious, for lack of better words. It is a “No padi for jungle” time zone, with the motto of “Shine your eye,” which pretty much adds up to "every man for himself." It is a place where everyone wants to go to heaven, however, no one wants to die to get there. Growing up as a child, I learned a lot through folktales and such. I remember sitting by the burning firewood at night listening to my grandmother's stories of enlightenment. These stories had morals that shaped my thinking and mentality today.

Love brings unity
Love is kind
Love can attract
Love makes one shine
Love yourself …
Love the Church body
Love the Holy Word
Love to meditate & study
Love conquers all
In whatever hatred brings
Love stands out
In every little thing
Love endures long suffering
It might be hard
Ask & receive
Trust in the Lord
God is love
Love is sacrifice
For he so loved the world
He gave his only son Jesus Christ
Don’t give up on love
When it seems it’s lost
With God there is hope
Because he paid the cost
Love is forgiveness
He forgives your sins
Hear the knocking on the door
Let Jesus Christ come in
Love should be unconditional
That is the honest truth
Love is love
Be a living proof

Farewell

I plead thee farewell in your new chapter
May our memories bring you nothing but joy and laughter
Together we all jumped over many obstacles and bites from the viper
I hate to see you go, but God is in control
He is the captain of your faith and the master of your soul
Put Him first and He will quench your thirst
Put him last and you will repeat the class
I will sincerely miss you
May all your dreams come true
Yes sir!
May God lift you up over your oppressors
Keep on reaching out for your aspirations, even if you face the unknown
The sky is your stepping stone; your first step sets the tone
Your future will be brighter; I confirm it in Jesus name
He is the author and finisher of your faith, that’s simple and plain

Umbilical cord











Much appreciated, I have been elevated and separated
I have been set aside, consecrated and sanctified
My soul realizes as I arise, brought back to life
I was once blind now I can see, to Him I give glory
I was once lost but now I am found
I send my praise towards heaven with magnification
Embracing your love, acknowledging you are God
May I forever be attached to you Lord
Please don't cut the umbilical cord
