The light of the world,

My pillar & foundation, My provider, My healer, 

I am the I am, The word, The most faithful,

The creator, My shield and buckler, The originator, 

The porter,The life giver, All seeing one,

The beginning and the end, The light of the world, 

Lion of the tribe of Judah, My fortress, My rock, 

My redeemer, The Name above all names, Emanuel, 

The most high, Mediator of the new covenant,

Lily of the valley, Ancient of days, 

The bright and morning star, 

The root and offspring of David, king of kings, Lord of lords, Alpha and omega, Giver of peace, My righteousness, 

Ever present one, The Great and Good Sheppard, 

Battle fighter, 

The hearer of my prayers, Most merciful, Giver of grace, 

The horn of my salvation, My Saviour, 

Most powerful and mighty, 

The self-existed one, The lord my banner, 

The one that blesses , The multiplier, 

My strong and high tower, Messiah, Supreme inventor, Beloved, 

Wonderful counselor, Everlasting ruler, Most merciful, 

The burning bush, The writings on the wall, Most worthy, Abba Father, Baba God, 

Commander-in-chief of  Heaven,

The God that is the same yesterday, today and forever, 

The trinity, The everlasting father. Elohim,

El elyon, El roi, El shaddai, Adonai, Jehovah, Jehovah-jireh, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah-nissi, Jehovah-mekoddishkem, Jehovah-shalom, Jehovah-sabaoth, Jahovah-raah,

A short Prayer

Father thank you for this day

Thank you for my life & my wife

Thank you for your Son Jesus Christ

Thank you for another opportunity …

To be a blessing to others in need

And to satisfy their curiosity

Thank you for allowing me to be an example through my lifestyle

And meanwhile …

Thank you for my unborn child

The Great Commission

The word disciple means a learner or a student.

Being a disciple or a learner comes with a few responsibilities, two of which I will attempt to explain.

First, being a disciple entails a life of sacrifice, from which we are to learn and become equipped to obey and follow God’s lead.

When we come to Christ the first thing we are asked to do is admit to our mistakes—a nice euphemism for sin—ask for forgiveness and sin no more. In other words, are asked to be holy.

Being holy, however, is generally very costly; in other words, following Christ or bierng obedient to our heavenly Father isn’t easy.

In Luke 9:57-62, Jesus provides three examples of what we may have to sacrifice in order to follow Him: (NKJV)

⁵⁷ Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”
⁵⁸ And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
⁵⁹ Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”
But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
⁶⁰ Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”
⁶¹ And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”
⁶² But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

1.    Verse 58: We must be prepared for possible homelessness, hunger, nakedness and most certainly we can count on losing sleep, being tired and being weary.

2.    Verse 59-60: We can also expect to miss out on some important events, and will probably end up disappointing family when we have to choose doing God’s work over some other family/personal engagement.

3.    Verse 61-62: You may also lose some friends and family members along the way. Once you chose Christ, there is no looking back.

These things are not new requirements to be holy. They’ve actually been I place since God created man … mind you, it became a much harder after the fall in the Garden of Eden. God has always made it clear to us what His expectations are for us and what His standard of holiness is.

Wow … that’s Life

Wow … I can’t believe how it turned out

How I was not being treated fair,

 I’m so stressed I feel like pulling out my hair

I was deprived of my full share & yeah … That’s life

I mean, I treat others with Love & respect

What the heck, I can’t stop being upset

Everything is going wrong

I know you are tired of hearing my sad songs

But yeah … that’s life

Would you imagine the nerve of those hypocrites?

I give to the needy & I help my neighbors

I gave but they did not return the favour

I have been mentally & emotional abused but, yeah that’s life

They say life is a box of chocolate, I’ll add with a rattle snake inside

I close my eyes & realize I need to stand up for myself

The pity parties need to stop, so I stand!

However no one is looking or listening

Wow... That’s life

Mama raised no fool, hard knock university I went to school

Studied like crazy but still could not fit in

I bought my friends with Material things but then …

They were gone with the wind & yeah, 
that’s life

But when I thought all hope was lost, coz I was lost!

I met someone who died for me to save me, He paid the cost

Unconditionally loved me, putting me first on His agenda

Through Him, I went from a Sinner to a winner

Wow … that is LIFE

May this be a year for you & yours to be truly blessed?
